Why we do what we do
Mission
To grow communities that benefit and thrive from informed, disciplined, safe and responsible use of sacraments.
SGC offers its Practitioners the opportunity to connect with the Divine through intentional, respectful, and caring practice with entheogenic sacraments. Specifically, SGC facilitates direct experience of and relationship to Divine presence for individuals and community, and life integration of the benefits this experience and relationship can bring.
Vision
A world where the way is opened for everyone to directly experience divine presence within this lifetime.
SGC envisions growing diverse, thriving, wise individuals and communities. Specifically, SGC envisions individual and community growth in respect, care, trust and integrity, within which our own lives and all of our relationships are consecrated through direct experience of and relationship to Divine presence.
Ethics
Care, Respect and Trust are our core values
SGC encourages our community members to take responsibility for clearly communicating their needs and boundaries. If anything ever does not feel right, we encourage you to use immediacy to address it in the moment or ask for help addressing it from an SGC staff or facilitator. If you have an ethical concern or an adverse experience that you were not able to address, please check out our ethics page for additional resources.
